We are seeking to fill 2 x Systems Administrators for a government client. This role is a APS6 level on a non-ongoing basis, immediate start in early January 2012. Salary range - $73,559-81,318 plus Super (depending on experience/level). These positions will be based on the North side and resides in the ICT Operations division. The ICT division operates in providing infrastructure support to a national IT team. This includes all aspects of ICT Operations such as: LAN/WAN, SOE, databases (Oracle, SAS, SQL), web (Coldfusion, IIS) and storage. Duties include: 1. assist with the management and administration of ICT systems in an integrate environment 2. provide high quality user level 2 help desk support across network, hardware and operating systems 3. assist in the evaluatioin, selection, procurement and installation of hardware and software components 5. liaise with internal staff to provide technical support over the phone or in person To be considered for these roles, you will require the following skills/experience: 1. Demonstrated 3-4 years + experience in the following: windows server 2008, networking experience including firewall management, Citrix metaframe, VMWare, Exchange, Sharepoint, Storage 9SAN, DAS, NAS) 2. Solid level 2/3 help desk support experience 3. Excellent communications and customer service skills 4.
