"Our client, a top-tier financial services firm, seeks an Anti-Money Laundering Quality Assurance Compliance officer. The anti-money laundering compliance officer will support the implementation and execution of the AML Quality Assurance Program to help ensure that the firm is in compliance with AML requirements and company policies and procedures. He/She will oversee the daily activities of the AML group to ensure that the employees and the firm is adhering to all industry rules and regulations. You will review the activity involved with KYC, EDD, Surveillance, and the filing of SARS. Key responsibilities: 1.Assist in the development of QA Program documentation. 2.Deliver QA reviews within the established timeframes. 3.Perform QA reviews covering the following key areas; program governance, risk assessment, Know Your Customer, OFAC/sanctions, transaction monitoring, suspicious activity reporting, information sharing, ad hoc reviews, etc. 4.Prepare QA planning, fieldwork, and reporting documentation in accordance with QA standards. 5.Effectively communicate QA findings to clients. 6.Assist in the maintenance of regulatory issues database to help ensure that all issues identified are tracked, validated for proper closure and reported. 7.Assist in the development of QA reporting, metrics, and trending. 8.Partner with clients to perform root cause analysis on key issues that may arise. 9.Identify “best-in-class” industry practices where applicable. 10.Build relationships with key stakeholders. 11.Help ensure “quality” as a critical attribute of QA supporting documentation and management supervision. 12.Keep apprised of compliance change to help ensure that QA activities are kept current. 13.Work as a “team” to support all QA activities. 14.Attend training and to keep current relevant knowledge and skills.
