Building and maintaining excellent working relationships with engineering, quality, production, equipment operators and maintenance personnel is crucial. Leadership in the areas of electrical distribution and control systems, electrical safety, continuous improvement, cost reduction, and innovative problem-solving is essential.  Required Knowledge: Electrical power distribution and controls engineering with working knowledge of PLC and motor drive control programming. Working knowledge of plant mechanical systems such as pumps and piping, heating and ventilation, air conditioning, structural engineering, power transmission, production machinery operation and maintenance. Good working knowledge of all applicable electrical safety regulations including OSHA and NFPA codes. Pluses: GE ‘Proficy’ Machine Edition PLC programming experience Control Techniques AC and DC motor drive control programming experience Wonderware ‘InTouch’ software experience LabView software experience  Qualifications: BS in Electrical Engineering 5-10+ years of experience working in an industrial environment. Ability to identify and solve problems quickly – critical thinking and problem solving skills a must.
