Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:  Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods. Confers with planning and design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods. Confers with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, material, or parts, and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards. Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions. Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes introduced to the facility. Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential. Writes appropriation requests for tooling, equipment, and systems. Works with manufacturing on process techniques and process problem solving. Responsible for initiating actions to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities, identifying and recording problems relating to product quality, processes, and quality systems, as well as controlling further processing or delivery of nonconforming product. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in related field; two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience related to product development or related extrusion type processes.  QUALIFICATIONS Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting, and analytical abilities Strong listening, verbal, written, and judgment skills Ability to work with mathematical concepts and apply to practical situations Good knowledge of Excel, QAD, Word, etc Experienced in CAD/CAM system OSHA, EHS knowledge required Strong TS16949 knowledge required http://bull.hn/l/CW4P/4"
