Benefits . 401K When – Immediately JOB DESCRIPTION - THE SALES ENGINEER WILL BE THE TECHNICAL SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT WORKING WITHIN A SALES ENVIRONMENT, SUPPORTING AND DRIVING HIGH TECH, HIGH DEMAND AND HIGH QUALITY MARKET LEADING SOLUTION DEMONSTRATIONS. THEY WILL WORK TO SUPPORT SALES WITHIN AN ESTABLISHED CUSTOMER BASE AND TEAM WITH THE SALES REPRESENTATIVE TO DRIVE NEW CUSTOMER ACQUISITION, AS WELL AS USE TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE TO SOLUTION SELL OUR CLIENTS SOLUTIONS TO ACCOUNTS, BY IDENTIFYING THEIR NEEDS, PRESENTING AND DEMONSTRATING THE SOLUTIONS, WORKING WITH PROFESSIONAL SERVICES TO DESIGN IMPLEMENTATION AND SUPPORTING THE SALES MANAGER. THIS ROLE INCLUDES, MANAGING ALL PHASES OF PRODUCT EVALUATIONS INCLUDING INSTALLATIONS, PRESENTING AT SEMINARS, RESPONDING TO RFP'S AND RFI'S AND THE TECHNICAL DEVELOPMENT OF PARTNERS. THE SYSTEMS ENGINEER MUST BE ABLE TO ARTICULATE THE IMPORTANCE OF DATA GOVERNANCE AND EVANGELIZE AS THE LEADER IN THE DATA GOVERNANCE MARKET. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE - A minimum of 3 years selling technology to Fortune 5000 companies. Excellent Sales Skills Demonstrated strong written, oral and presentation skills with the ability to discuss highly technical concepts to all audiences, ranging from non-technical people to executive level technical decision-makers. Extensive knowledge of Active Directory and related Directory Services Extensive knowledge of Windows and Unix File systems Knowledge of Microsoft SQL or other databases Experience with Network Appliance and EMC NAS Experience selling to Windows Engineering and/or Security Engineering groups Exposure to security hardware and software Exposure to SharePoint Exposure to Exchange Servers SUCCESS FACTORS - • Exceptional technical skills • Adaptable in a fast-paced, changing environment TRAVEL - IN TERRITORY LOCATION – PORTLAND, OR"
