Project Manager (ITIL/ Service Management) in Danbury, CT Project manager for ITIL and service management reporting   ITIL foundations certified with working knowledge of ITIL Service Operations disciplines. At least 3 years of experience with Business Objects Web Intelligence reporting, including experience with creating complex reports using multiple universes, complex measures, functions, relative positioning and input controls. Working knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, particularly the Reports and Homepage Admin modules. Desired:   Experience working in a highly matrixed and remotely based organization. Proficiency in implementing solutions utilizing ITIL framework and best practices. Experience using Excel, Oracle, MySQL, OBIEE, Cognos, Crystal Reports, or other data analysis / business intelligence tools to extract, refine, and present data from diverse sources. Working knowledge of data management related to data governance, data definitions and data modeling. This position plays a key role in ensuring consistent reporting to deliver operationally excellent services.  Responsibilities for this position include:   Examine and evaluate the purpose and content of existing Business Objects and ServiceNow reports to improve format, use, and control. Review reports to determine and document basic characteristics, such as origin and report flow, format, frequency, distribution and purpose/function of reports. Partner with global GE business and GIS contacts to understand and define new reporting requirements, translating them into the design, development, and delivery of standard executive and operational reports for all the supported ITIL processes using Business Objects Web Intelligence and ServiceNow.  Manage the scheduling, automation and presentation of GIS public Business Objects reports.  Support and Maintain all public Business Objects and ServiceNow reports by creating, monitoring, and managing enhancements and defects related to the GIS EDW data warehouse and Business Objects universe, associated Business Objects and ServiceNow reports, homepages and gauges.  In some cases, directly developing and publishing these reports. Monitor and manage request for access to Business Objects universes owned by ITIL Service Management, maintaining adherence to GE’s legal and compliance guidelines.
