"Writer will create original copy for social media, blogs, websites (home page, company's description, products, services, etc.), newsletters, and press releases. Topics will vary greatly, so writer will not fall into a boring routine =) Writer is (obviously) not expected to know about every topic that comes up, but is expected to research before writing about unknown topics. Job Requirements: • Be enrolled in or have graduated with a Bachelor's degree in English, Writing, Journalism, Marketing, Communication, or a field directly related to writing. • Knowledge of online marketing (including SEO) and branding. • Very organized, attentive to details, and works well under deadlines • Internet savvy --good researcher and knowledgeable in social media. Extra points if knowledgeable in Word Press and/or HTML, as well as, on how to write "white papers" and sales letters. • Be cooperative (non-argumentative and non-competitive) • Self-motivated - follows through with plans and finishes projects The company is a new online marketing consulting firm (will be launched in a couple of weeks). Our services include social media strategy, copywriting search engine optimization, pay-per-click advertising, and website development.
