"The IT Systems Analyst will assist in the development and design of new information technology solutions that improve business efficiency and productivity. Responsibilities Review, analyze, and document system specifications relating to implementation, integration, conversion, or other functional ERP system changes. Work closely with departmental staff and outside vendors to examine existing business models and flows of data, discuss findings, and design an appropriate improved IT solution. Produce outline designs and costing of new IT systems, and assist the user group with implementation of the design/solution. Effectively manage projects and project communication including defining the scope, goals and deliverables. Collaborate with the MIS staff to troubleshoot Banner hardware/software problems, benchmark best practices, and develop Banner implementation strategies. Assist the Webmaster on content management system processes and training. Maintain specialized web pages. Lead database design and implementation for new application development projects that are MS SQL, Oracle SQL or other platform based. Develop and maintain working relationships using positive, cooperative, professional interactions with faculty, staff, students, coworkers, managers, and outside agencies, and other individuals that you have contact with in your position. Best Industry – IT Best Department – IT, Software Development Qualifications Associates or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required. 4 years experience facilitating business process improvement, and implementing software packages, or management information systems implementation. 2 years of experience working with and implementing administrative information software, including integration with independent applications. 2 years of experience facilitating teams using quality improvement methods and tools. Ability to work independently and efficiently with a high degree of accuracy, establishing priorities, multi-tasking, and setting/meeting assignments and priorities is essential in this position. ; Candidates must be able to effectively communicate and interact with a variety of people including Banner SunGard HE consultants and MIS staff (onsite and offsite). Demonstrated high levels of proficiency with MS Access, MS Excel and BI software packages including the ability to develop queries and reports, export and import files, sorting, pivot tables, and subtotaling functions is required. Experience in team facilitation, use of quality tools, systems thinking, and process improvement. Ability to develop queries against a multitude of databases, including but not limited to MS SQL, Oracle SQL, and MS Access. Demonstrated ability of web development using HTML, CSS and ASP .Net Candidates must be either current US Citizens or Green Card holders. Preferred Experience quality improvement methods and tools"
