Role: Reporting to the Corporate Engineering Director in EMEA, the consultant will be part of the Corporate Engineering team whose role is to provide specialist support to complex deals and key account support through technical demonstrations, proof of concept testing and executive briefings. A high degree of customer interaction is expected, and as such this role will involve significant travel to customer meetings and briefings throughout EMEA. These will vary from deep technical discussions to CxO level meetings discussing the business value of the Technical Consultants particular area of expertise on Vblock platforms. VCE Technical Consultants have deep subject matter expertise and therefore the role will require maintenance of those skills through formal training, lab time, developing Demonstration collateral and leveraging those skills supporting customer proof of concept testing in our Solutions Centres. We are seeking 2 positions. - VDI specialist - Vblock Infrastructure specialist Technical Skills (Vblock role) 3+ years of previous experience designing and implementing converged infrastructure solutions in at least 2 of the following areas: Cisco Data Center products such as Nexus 5k, Nexus 1kv & Cisco UCS EMC storage products such as VNX and VMAX families of storage VMware virtualization products such as vSphere suite Experience with EMC BRS suite, RecoverPoint, VPLEX, Avamar and Data Domain is desired Experience with VMware vCloud Director, View, Chargeback, vCenter Operations and Orchestrator is desired Experience with management & orchestration products from Cisco, CA Technologies, and BMC is a plus Knowledge of IT operations and ITIL best practices is a plus Industry knowledge of service provider or vertical markets such as healthcare and finance is desired Technical Skills (VDI role) 3+ years of previous experience designing and implementing virtual desktop solutions with VMware View and/or Citrix XenDesktop 3+ years of previous experience designing and implementi... http://bull.hn/l/MLIX/1"
