"Looking for a Risk Manager in San Diego, CA **To submit your application for consideration, please follow the provided link: https://sj.tbe.taleo.net/SJ6/ats/careers/requisition.jsp?org=WISINTL&cws=1&rid=1876 JOB SUMMARY Under the general supervision of Director of Corporate Finance, and working closely with the VP of Health & Safety, this position exists to manage, lead and advocate for a company-wide loss control program to ensure a safe work environment for WIS employees at all company locations including customer sites.  In addition this position will manage the Company’s various insurance policies in order to ensure that the Company maintains sufficient and appropriate coverage where necessary.  Will also identify, minimize and eliminate risks of accidental loss, resolve workers’ compensation, automobile and general liability losses incurred by the organization for the lowest amount.  The Risk Manager directly supervises up to three Divisional Claims Coordinators, with key partner relationships with broker(s), underwriter(s), carrier(s), and TPA.   JOB DUTIES ·  Report monthly, quarterly, and annual workers’ compensation related statistics to the Senior Management Team, and Field Operations leadership as related to opportunity areas in risk reduction and cost containment. ·    Analyze loss control needs for the purpose of identifying issues, developing processes and/or recommending action plans to enhance programs. ·    Prepares operational and risk analysis reports for senior management based on analytical study of claims data, and assists business operations in addressing identified claim trends. ·    Work with Senior Management to select appropriate techniques to minimize loss, such as avoidance (reducing loss occurrences) and loss prevention and reduction (reducing frequency and severity of loss), and drive initiatives across multi-functions (such as safety, claims management, operations and the insurance program) in order to control risks and losses. ·   Initiate initiatives and actions with divisional leadership and collaboration to control cost by implementing an organizational effort to minimize the adverse effects of accidental losses. Analyze and manage the status of all high-dollar value open claims by regular loss trend analysis and claim review with brokers, adjusters, and appropriate senior management members. ·    Provide direction in the adjustment of claims, investigation of major losses and in settlement negotiations. ·    Analyze and manage the Company’s portfolio of insurance policies, ensuring appropriate coverage is maintained as necessary. ·   Manage third party relationships with brokers, insurers and other TPAs by preparing loss analyses and budgets, gathering renewal information, identifying exposures and recommending solutions, implementing approved programs, updating and monitoring compliance with insurance procedures and managing safety/risk management manuals. ·  Provide direction in the development of effective Pre-Loss and Post-Loss I... http://bull.hn/l/QOTB/"
