"Job: Customer Sales Specialist II- Dallas/Fort Worth, TX Start Date 09/10/2012 in Fort Worth, TX As a Bank of America Customer Service and Sales Specialist, you would be responsible for managing incoming calls from our credit card customers and developing a rapport with them to broaden our existing relationship. Ninety-five percent of the time will be spent over the phones with customers. You would be responsible for optimizing sales opportunities on each call, for example, soliciting balance transfers from competitors, soliciting cash deposits into checking accounts and offering additional credit card products and services. You must achieve monthly sales goals and maintain minimum call standards.  Associates utilize negotiation and decision-making skills to determine the most appropriate solicitation for each customer while minimizing fraud and maintaining customer satisfaction; consistently offering solutions to our customers by leveraging account information and effective questioning to identify the needs.  Successful candidates are goal-oriented, flexible and possess strong decision-making skills. Additionally, successful candidates have the ability to navigate several computer applications and the judgment to deviate from standard screens, scripts and procedures when appropriate.
