We have got a proven track record in delivering best services to our Clients as well as candidates.   Our client, a major Federal Government Department, is seeking SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER joins them to work on: Provide an appropriately skilled Project Manager to work with the Client in the eBusiness and Information Solutions Branch and within the agreed rates as per the Deed of Standing Offer. The key duties include, but are not limited to the following: • Delivery of projects through the design, build, and delivery of Infrastructure Projects for the new Client. • Delivery of medium to large scale Infrastructure enhancement and rationalisation projects. • Delivery of large scale migration Projects. • Provide expert technical advice and assistance to other related projects and personnel – at the discretion of the Infrastructure Manager. • Assistance in various Infrastructure related tasks at the direction of the Infrastructure Manager. Reporting requirements will vary depending on the nature of the engagement and the exact role each specified personnel will be required to fill.  Reporting requirements will include but not be limited to: • activity and progress meetings with the designated Client supervisor to the satisfaction of that supervisor (weekly or fortnightly); • timesheets for vendor personnel; and • major work review by designated Executives and stakeholders when major work milestones have been completed. To be considered for the position you will have: Mandatory • Demonstrated experience in delivery of projects using defined project management methodologies (PRINCE2 preferred); • Demonstrated experience in the delivery of Infrastructure Projects that utilise the Microsoft Technology Stack (comprising of SharePoint, BizTalk, CRM and SQL Server);  • Ability to engage and work collaboratively with technical and business leads with the ability to challenge without alienating; • Professionally recognised qualification in project management and experience using Project Management tools; and • Proven experience in negotiating outcomes and leading small teams of technical resources.  Requirement: To manage the transition of the IT infrastructure to a new service provider. This will include stabilizing and rationalizing the environment prior to transition.
