"• Administer Agile development tools • Work with software engineers to understand and meet their development infrastructure requirements • Automate configuration, deployment, and monitoring across multiple environments • Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of servers and services, system and key processes, reviewing service logs and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups. • Manage internal and cloud infrastructures • Provide 7x24 pager support (on rotation) • Develop policies and procedures to maximize system performance and uptime to meet customer SLAs • 4+ years DevOps experience with: - Continuous integration (e.g. Bamboo, Jenkins, Cruise Control) - Source code management (e.g. SVN, Git, Mercurial) - Problem management systems (e.g. JIRA) - Cloud infrastructure services (e.g. Amazon AWS including Amazon EC2, S3, Elastic Beanstalk, Auto Scaling, and Amazon NoSQL (DynamoDB) services) - Web architecture (e.g. Tomcat/JBoss, Hadoop, Hive) - Unix/Linux, Windows, and Mac system administration - Writing tools using languages like Bash, Batch, Python, Ruby, Perl, and Java - Experience or knowledge with compilers, linkers, build tools (e.g. ant, maven, make, rake) • Experience with cloud configuration tools like chef and puppet an asset. • Small company/environment is preferable • Good oral and written communication skills • Permanent --------------------------------------------------------------------- • You’re welcome to email c.v. or invitation to dan_simard@videotron.ca • No resume will be submitted w/o contacting you first and only selected candidates will be contacted • Due to number of local and readily available candidates, priority is given to LOCAL candidates and NO relocation offered • Candidates must ALREADY have rights to work in Canada • No outsourcing and NO overseas recruiting • Help from other 3rd party recruiters not required"
