Our client has an immediate need for a Quality Engineer for a direct role in South Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The ideal candidate must have Quality Engineering experience in a consumer product manufacturing environment. This is a direct position with responsibilities for activities involving quality assurance and compliance including conducting audits, reviewing customer specifications, developing quality control work instructions, and reviewing and analyzing data related to internal production. A Four year technical degree in engineering is preferred along with 8 years of experience in root cause analysis and resolving QA issues within a corporate environment. The ideal candidate must have working knowledge of ISO/QS 9000 quality systems, product qualification testing, and inspection tools and equipment. This will include the development and support of supplier quality activities. A metallurgical background, ASQ Certified quality Engineer or Auditor, and proficiency with MS office applications including Project is preferred.
