This has enabled FossilShale and its customers to be ahead of their competition and to define new markets with new products The requirement for which we would be considering your profile Is, Title: Software Engineer - Multimedia Engineer Experience: 2 to 4years Location: Bangalore, KA. Job Description:- PRIMARY SKILLS (MUST HAVE): • Strong C programming skills. • Extensive Design and implementation experience & debugging skills on embedded platforms • Expert in RTOS (preferably in Embedded Linux). • Expertise on Media Player / Recorder, Media access modules (File containers and Parsers for MP3, JPEG, MPEG2PS, MPEGTS, MP4, WMA/V, Divx etc.) and streaming framework (Gstreamer, OpenMax etc). • Knowledge on Video formats & standards (H.264, AVC, MPEG2 HW based decoders), Real time embedded data dependent software. • Expertise on MPEG2 Transport Demux, MPEG2 system standards, AV sync issues, Memory management etc. • Good working knowledge on platforms - TI Davinci or ATMEL or Freescale i.MX etc. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong reasoning, analytical and strategizing skills. SECONDARY SKILLS (NICE TO HAVE): • Hands-on experience on using Open source tool chains. • Overview of TV and STB Architecture. • Expertise in DVB/ATSC standards, MPEG, H264 and Broadcast audio standards. • Expertise in Network Streaming Protocols (RTSP/HTTP) Request you to provide the following details • Total Experience : • Relevant Experience: • Current CTC: • Expected CTC: • Notice Period: Your resume will be awaited.
