"Our client is a young web and mobile applications development company with a team of people drawn from the best engineering schools in the country. They are looking for a good engineer with bright academics to fill the following position asap. Position : Sr Developer - PHP/ MySQL Education : Comp Science degree from a good institute ( IITs/ NITs/ Equivalent preferred ). Must have scored above 70% in 10th and 12th Boards. MCA/ BCA/ PG Diploma NOT being considered. Experience : 3 - 5 years Location: Noida Compensation : Competitive and commensurate with candidate caliber and experience Role Responsibilities and Desired Profile : 1. Responsible for development of new products and enhancing existing product. Web development following MVC architecture using one of these frameworks - Symfony2, Zend, Yii, CodeIgnitor, CakePHP. OOPS programming using various design patterns. Responsible for development of new products and enhancing existing critical product using open source technologies (LAMP). Leading a team of 4-8 people and scaling the application to a very high user base. 2. Completely hands-on with coding and bug-fixing, Study project requirements interact with clients to fill up any missing pieces, Come up with technical architecture for projects we are building on. Create PRDs, SRSs, wireframes and product layouts. Motivate, train and inspire people around you. Participate in company’s very fast growth over the next few years by contributing in any area that you are interested in. 3. An expert with Zend or Symfony or CakePHP or Yii AND PHP and MySQL. Expertise with one of the JavaScript library JQuery/ExtJS is a MUST HAVE. Excellent programming, algorithmic and analytical skills. Experience with Facebook APIs and SmartFoxServer/Union Server would be a huge plus. Experience with load-balancers, load testing tools, multi-server architectures, Remote DB. Connections, scaling up a web-application to a huge user base. Must know Linux and web servers configurations.
