Post Resume -Get Paid by Employers at Resumark .com Subject: Addison Tao posted a job: "Now Hiring: Finance and Admin Manager (Based in Shanghai or Hong Kong) in Shanghai, China Pupose of the Job Drive business achievement, optimise the financial return and long term business sustainability of the Technical Services Division by managing the business performance of the departments, exercising proper contract management for the business and improving the business process and practises, quality and timely management reporting, financial planning and monitoring internal controls and practices in accordance with the statutory and regulatory requirement and the Group’s policies & guidelines. Key Result Areas Business 1. Take part in the formulation and execution of management strategies and business operation with reference to external market situation to help achieve the Division’s target business goals 2. Recognise the potential impact of the changing market, industry, system and technological environment on the business, and draw management attention to significant issues 3. Provide key business perspectives and contribute alternative scenarios and outcomes in the Division’s business decision making process 4. Seek to understand proactively the business cycle and operation of the division such as sourcing, demand projection, production, sales, shipment, service scope and business challenge in order to contribute to the Division’s business performance 5. Evaluate the potential consequences, risks, costs and benefits of business proposals and options using robust financial models, technical expertise and an understanding of key business drivers 6. Communicate and explain the financial objectives approved by the Management to the staff of the division and support them to drive for results Operation & Administration Controls 7. Review the various contracts of the Divisions including the agency agreements, purchases, sales and service contracts to ensure proper risk management, and compliance with the policies and guidelines of the group and the Division and the relevant statutory and regulatory requirements. 8. Monitor the execution of the contracts to ensure contracts terms and relevant regulation are complied. 9. Make recommendations to improve the business operation process and procedures and facilitate the implementation of informed management decisions 10. Implement and maintain sound controls and efficient mechanism on administration of the Division Financial Accounting 11. Implement and maintain a sound financial accounting system, and guide the staff of the division to implement it and comply with the related policies and procedures fully and consistently 12. Ensure that the finance and accounting activities are consistent amongst all departments to best support the Division’s strategic and business goals 13. Consolidate all accounting data inputs from departments, validate the data, generate financial reports, take prompt action to correct any technical errors and ensure complete data integrity 14.
