These positions will be responsible for delivering technical support to a major federal government client. http://bit.ly/XUXbQ2 "Working on an enterprise project, these positions will be responsible for delivering technical support to a major federal government client. There are 2 positions available, 3 months contract with a further 6 month extension past 30 June 2013. Commence date: 1 March 2013 (preferred). Duties include: •Provide 3rd Level specialist advice & support for UNIX environment; •Work effectively in a small team environment; •Record and maintain files/information in accordance with organisational requirements •Administrating Operating Systems specifically Redhat, Debian, AIX and Solaris •Scripting abilities particularly with UNIX Shell Script and Perl •These roles may require ad hoc on-call after hours work Required Skills •5 years + experience as a Unix Administer/specialist within a Federal Government environment •Knowledge and experience in network management design and implementation, including: oUnix (Solaris) and Windows operating systems oITIL processes; monitoring servers including services such as Windows Server 2003/2008 •Current Government Security Clearance (minimum) and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
