"Position Summary: The person will lead Human Resource Management & Engagement efforts for the organization, equipping team to deliver significant growth. He / She will establish strong Employee management function for ensuring high standards of Organizational Development. The role will require collaborative working within and outside organization, bring in energy, direction and inspiration to the team and the entire organization. He / she will be potentially seen as breathing fresh life into the organization, inculcating work culture to prepare it for high quality service delivery & live up to Handiman promise: We know, We understand, We deliver . He / She will engage in strategic steps to foster greater focus, collaboration and bonding among employees to build a stronger organisation. Key work areas 1. Quality HR processes: Recruitment, induction, training , compensation , performance management , motivation 2. Talent Management 3. Drive value system: Organisational values, Work culture, Ethics 4. Strategic HR: Employee engagement, Service culture, preparing organisation for future, Succession planning 5. Organizational Development: Structure, Roles, T & D , Role and Responsibilities • Develops HR strategies for the organization, by identifying and researching human resource issues within the organization and recommendations to overcome these issues in systematic and time bound manner. • Develops Performance Management & Training and Development Systems within the organization. • Establishes quality processes and drives Implementation on key HR processes to build a stronger organization: Talent acquisition/ Induction, Compensation, health and welfare benefits, Training and development, , safety and health, Motivation , Performance management , recognition / rewards and employee relations and retention. • Establishes appropriate employee structure for the organization to be responsive, quick , effective on delivery and efficient . Reviews & ensures that Role definitions / JDs are in place and well understood by respective employees in the role • Specifically works on establishing right recruitment processes for the organization at all levels : Sources , Database , Search , Selection and Induction . Reviews current capacity ( in numbers & quality ) to build organization’s capacity to recruit quality as appropriate for the organization . • Develops HR strategy for future in terms of competencies needed , sourcing options , functional realignments / structures in line with future business direction for the organization. Works on succession planning . • Acts as organization’s custodian on Values, Ethics. Defines for clarity & establishes mechanisms, processes for implementation & tracking. • Supports management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions; analyzing information and applications. • Need one point on Motivation • Need one point on T & D • Develops, updates policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating and enforcing organization values. • Complies with state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions. • To identify talent gaps in the organization & build talent pipelines to ensure continuity & smooth operations & ensuring closure of key positions. Undertakes Competency mapping exercise at required periodicity to throw up gaps for addressing. • Strong Analytical abilities with an eye for details • System / process Driven • Man-management and leadership qualities • Effective communication and negotiation skills • 40 - 50 years.
