They are one of the world largest software product development company in Storage & Security Domain. Job Title: Sr. Software Engineer Division / Group: Net Backup Job description: • Education: B.E/ B.Tech/ M.E/ M.Tech/ MCA from a reputed college. • Develops, debugs and maintains complex software modules on Unix/Linux and/or Windows platforms. • Good network and data security background. • Responsible for providing technical leadership within the team, mentoring other members of the team. • Works with minimal supervision on analysis tasks and with no supervision on development tasks • Ability to scale quickly on complex domains. • Good communication, great team player and should have leadership skills. Technical Skills required: • Must have strong C/C++ programming skills • Must possess knowledge of Algorithms & Data Structure • Strong Open SSL and security fundamentals and knowledge • Must have strong system level (UNIX System call, socket programming, Win32 APIs, multi-threading, IPC etc.) programming knowledge on Unix/Linux and Windows platform • Must have good analytical skills to debug complex issues using various tools Unix /Linux /Windows platforms • Knowledge of database concepts like Transaction Management, ODBC, Query optimization, Triggers, Procedures etc. is a plus • Storage/ backup domain knowledge is a plus Experience required (Years): 5 - 9 Years of software development experience Education preferred: Requires a Masters or Bachelors degree (or equivalent) (B.Tech, MCA, BE, M.Tech) Work Location: Pune.
