Name: Contact Info: Location: Current Salary: Expected Salary: Visa Status: Availability: Job Description: Title: Data Warehouse/ETL /Analytics Engineer (Information Technology - Database Administration) Location: United States - Utah - Salt Lake City Term: Fulltime Key Responsibilities: The Data Analytics Software Engineer will work closely with the Database / Business Marketing Team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining specific databases, ETL jobs and 3rd party integrations needed to support the data and analytical needs of the business. Other duties may be assigned. • Design, develop and troubleshoot queries, stored procedures, user defined functions, etc within given databases and data warehouse to support all levels of the business and Business Intelligence systems • Design, develop and maintain ETL jobs for the data warehouse and other data exchange processes • Work closely with business users to design and develop procedures that optimize and/or provide insights to the various business processes • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations • Protect the organization's value by keeping information confidential Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other qualifications include: •Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or other RDBMS •Strong SQL programming skills •T-SQL, PL/SQL, or .Net experience a plus •Ability and motivation to learn new technologies quickly and with minimal support and guidance •Ability to meet deadlines while working in a fast-paced environment •Business Objects Data Services, Universe Designer, Web Intelligence a plus. Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems from a four-year college or university required with 1-2 years work-related experience. Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Mathematical Skills: Strong math skills with the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form, and deal with several abstract and concrete variables."
