Description The Program Manager plans, manages, and is accountable for consolidation of a service center footprint and modernization of technologies to deliver more self service tools to citizen’s in the Cash Assistance and SNAP programs in NYC. The role requires exceptional customer service and influential leadership skills. Proven call center management experience along with tactical planning and workforce implementation of new processes is a must for this position. Responsibilities: • Develop project plans • Manage project schedule and budget • Provide strategic and tactical program management oversight to diverse team • Interface daily with customer and serve as key point of contact • Lead project planning meetings • Communicate project status to various levels of management & customer stakeholders • Identify project risks and resolve project issues • Prepare milestone and detailed reports • Monitor work assignments • Review project deliverables • Oversees activities for staffing, training, and overall management of staff Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degrees in information technology or a related field • At least 15 years of experience in program management for information systems • 5 -7 years experience managing a $50 -$100 million dollar program • Experience managing Firm Fixed Price contracts and EVM • Experience with State Health and Human Services agencies • Experience with IT Project Development Lifecycle, Web application development & maintenance; HHS framework • Experience with call center consolidation and operations • Knowledge of Project Planning tools such as Microsoft Project • Knowledge of Earned Value Management principles • Ability to communicate effectively with project staff and customers to solve complex issues • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with and knowledge of human services programs • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills • Understanding of systems design and development processes • Project Management Professional certification, ITIL"
