About us We are co-creating products with our industry partners who bring valuable expertise in the domain for which the product is intended. The kind of products we will be creating are primarily web and mobile applications, software based appliances and consumer devices. These will be very well researched and best in class products based on three principles: well thought off user interaction, robust architecture and minimalist design. The projects currently being undertaken are in the financial services and media industry and we are putting together the core team to kick start. The current team has extensive global experience building technology and media businesses. Position: Agile Hacker We are currently looking for sharp engineers with good problem solving skills and attention to detail. This is an opportunity to be part of the founding team. If you believe in the vision of working in a top notch team and on exciting products where your team defines what the product should have and how it should work then this is where you can. However, you need to demonstrate the caliber to do that and match up with your team mates. Skills and Experience · At least 3 years of experience working with awesome projects which demonstrate that you thought out of the box and questioned the status quo to make things not just better but the best! · Expert skills in at least one programming language (doesn't matter which one): Ruby, Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, Scala, Lisp (any dialect), Haskell, Erlang, Go, Smalltalk, or any other. · Superb skills in object-oriented or functional programming and design. · Strong understanding of design patterns, or an opinion on why they're overrated. · A firm grasp of multi-threading, databases (relational or non-relational), I/O and networking. · Good understanding of data structures and algorithms. You should certainly apply if: · You enjoy crafting elegant, well-tested solutions, not just delivering working code · The acronyms OO, SOLID, TDD, BDD, XP mean something to you · You have logical and well researched opinions on existing and new technologies, and relish the learnings and challenges of working on different platforms and products · You have experience with or interest in user-centered interaction design · You have an entrepreneurial mindset · You strive for yourself, your team and your organization to continuously learn and improve Location All positions will be based out of Mumbai.
