"Contract Length: 12-months **Requires heavy lifting, climbing a ladder, steel toe shoes, etc.** (Please read through job description for specific requirements.) Job Description: An Assembler will need to be able to assemble metal parts using multiple sizes and types of hardware and electric/air powered tools to drill, grind, assemble, etc... They need to be able to read and interpret part details and mechanical prints to assemble components. They need to be able to install components by reading and interpreting material lists, panel layouts, and wire diagrams. Disassembles finished product, prepares for shipping and assists in the shipping process. Assist in general housekeeping of work area and entire shop. They have a to be able to lift/and or move up to 50 pounds regularly by themselves, and up to 100 with a team lift or other assistance. They will frequently be climbing or balancing on 4 and 6 foot ladders and completing elevated work, working in tight spaces, stooping, kneeling, walking and standing. The ability to read a tape measure down to 1/32. They must have Steel Toe Safety Shoes or Boots. We also require the hired candidate to bring with them the following must haves on their first day of work: Tool Box Claw Hammer Set of Screwdrivers Flat & Phillips 3/8 Drive Ratchet 3/8 , 7/16 , 1/2 , 9/16 and Sockets Standard Lock Jaw Pliers Full Set of Nut Drivers 16 foot Tap Measure Drift Pin 3/8 , 7/16 , 9/16 , and Combination Box/Open End Wrenches Diagonal Cutters Additional Tools will be required within two months of starting: 3/8 Extensions @ 3 , 6 , and 9 long Needle Nose Pliers Crescent Wrench 10 or 12 Channel Locks Vise Grip Pliers Metric & Standard Wrenches Flashlight Dead Blow Hammer 3/8 x 16 and x 20 Dies or Thread Chaser Caulking Gun Assorted Pry Bars or a set of Pry Bars 7/16 & 9/16 Ratchet Wrenches Any items broken while at work will be replaced by the Company.
