This role will requires consulting with customers and assisting them develop solutions using the Core Java, JEE and other Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate and Hadoop. The ideal candidate will also have the ability and motivation to expand into other JEE technologies and frameworks as a subject matter expert. Responsibilities: • Participate in both teaching and training to large audiences. • Work with customers to consult on Java Technologies. Required Experience: • 1 Year of solid Java Development experience • Familiarity with the Java ecosystem and enterprise offerings. • Excellent verbal and written communications. Nice, but not required • Background in JEE Application Server Technology and JEE. – Extensive background in Databases. • Ability to write unit tests using frameworks such as Junit and TestNG. • Consulting background and/or comfort in working with customers • Experience working with the Spring Framework. • Ability to understand real world use-cases, and recommend standard design patterns commonly used in Spring-based deployments. • Knowledge of the Spring Framework Features: – Spring MVC, Spring Integration, Spring Security, Spring Mobile, etc. • Configuration management systems such as Git, SVN, CVS, and Rational ClearCase. • Understanding of Messaging Systems such as JBoss Messaging, IBMMQ, ActiveMQ, and RabbitMQ. |opensourcearchitect| offers an excellent compensation and employee benefit package including medical, dental, vision, company ownership, gym allowance, cell phone and internet allowance, generous paid time off, travel assistance and more!
