Working directly with a hosting service provider, will lead the dedicated client site support, overseeing daily administration, monitoring, performance tuning, and back-ups. Additionally, he will be charged with ongoing evaluation of high availability design, redundancy, clustering, load balancing, performance troubleshooting and the analysis of failover and disaster recovery planning and be responsible for software upgrades and patch management. Experience required: - 6-10 years of experience in web application system administration on Solaris 10 - 4 years experience in administration of Solaris 10 - Strong understanding of Sun Java Web servers (6.1 and higher), Application servers running WebLogic 9.2 and higher and Oracle database servers running Oracle 10g - Familiarity with TCP/IP protocol, Bind skills, LAN/WAN experience - Knowledge of VPN concentrator (Cisco ASA 5500 series), Load Balancers (Coyote Point), firewalls and switches - Working experience with CA ArcServe backup software and Snort IDS system Preferred Experience: - Familiarity with Linux Red Hat preferred Education: - BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent About MicroAgility: (Inc 500 honoree in 2008) MicroAgility is a business and technology consulting company.
