Using phone and email Grow consultants apply their skills to support selected entrepreneurs, with a focus on driving tangible business growth and, in turn, stimulating positive consequences on the wider community In 2010... • Consultants were recruited from 11 different countries and across 5 different continents • Consultants were teamed up with 58 different businesses • 52 jobs were created across 7 businesses within the first six months following completion of their Grow project • Profit increases of between 6 and 80% were reported by the 7 businesses that completed projects within the first six months, Grow volunteers are expected to contribute the cost of telephone calls (with an international calling card, these can be as low as 0.08 USD/minute) and 2-3 hours per week for the twelve week consulting period. Additionally, each volunteer is required to have a minimum level of professional experience, for example a formal business qualification (e.g. MBA, Chartered Accountant). In return for the consultancy they receive and to cover the administrative costs of their consultancy project, each business is required to pay a minimal fee. Description • Responsible for delivering fully verified multimedia cores • Will work with Systems architecture, HW design and Post Si validation teams for various milestones and deliverables • Will contribute towards defining and improving verification environments for Multimedia cores Skills/Experience • Must hold a Bachelor’s and/or a Master’s in Electrical Engineering • At least 3+ years experience in digital logic design and verification • Must have worked on at least one project with any of the following 1. HVL (Vera / SV) based verification environment with OVM or UVM 2. SystemC / C++ verification environment.
