Position: Geologist
Desired Skills & Experience
- MTech/ MSC Geology / Geotech with Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Good understanding of Geotechnical concepts with analytical ability
The Position is responsible for analyzing various technical tests viz: liauid limit, rock strength etc. and their timely documentation while also eprforming specific tests in the laboratory as per requirement.
Key Performance areas:
- To Ensure efficient and timely analysis of various technical tests
- To coordinate with the lab for various tests as per timelines
- To ensure timely documentation of tests, report preparation and submission to the technical Head
- To ensure succesful and timely resolution of cusotmer queries and issues
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Lab Related:
- To perform testing of various soil/rock samples received from different sites
- To continuously coordinate and follow up with the lab incharge for ensuring timely testing of samples
- To ensure accurate and regular documentation and maintenence of various lab tests
Geotechnical Analysis:
- To ensure efficient and timely analysis of soil and rock samples as received from site for various parameters like Type of soil and rock, Standard Penetration Test , RQD (Rock test to check the quality of rocks), UCS( unconventional compression strength), Rock Strength
- To continuously update and refer to scientific technical books for efficient and accurate investigation of various tests
- To design the various Geotechnical findings based on different parameters for soil and rock samples
- To ensure timely and effective preparation of reports based on various geotechnical analysis and findings on the project
Client Interface:
- To interact with the client for understanding their requirement on various analysis test
- To recommend to the clients and client representative the various findings on the analysis test
- To ensure succesful and timely resolution of customer queries and issues
