Post Resume -Get Paid by Employers at Resumark .com Subject: Application/Generalist Support Engineer Sheela sood posted a job: Application/Generalist Support Engineer "Berean Group Is Seeking an Application/Generalist Support Engineer Job location: Miramar, FL (South Florida) Job duration: 6 Months Job Type: Contract Citizenship / Work Authorization: Must be US Citizen or Perm Resident Only Scope of work • Production support of all shipboard applications, working with several different technologies (SQL, Handheld devices, Windows/Linux/Apple platforms, etc...) • This position will also act as resource for several different projects (upgrades, New Builds, enhancements) • Participate in User Acceptance Testing • Test, certify, and implement version updates received from system vendor Required skills/competencies • Experience in supporting packaged applications • Experience with mobile devices (Handhelds) • Must be able to adapt in a dynamic environment • Analytical skills • Incident/Problem resolution skills Preferred Skills • Experience in the Hospitality industry • Experience with systems such as Point of Sale (Revelation preferred), Time & Attendance (Kronos preferred), Property Management Systems, Security systems, Internet Cafe systems, etc. • Experience with at least one of these systems will be considered a definite plus. • Cruise industry experience preferred - 2/3 years of field experience Preferred Education • Degree in Computer Science - Microsoft Certification(s) - Apple/Linux certification(s) Background checks required • SSN verification • 5 yr statewide criminal • H1 candidates are Not Allowed.
