Can you help me identify candidates for an exceptional Commodity Management position with a successful and rapidly growing international manufacturing organization? Our client, a recognized name in the industrial products, is seeking an ambitious, highly-motivated, “fast track” individual to join their corporate procurement team as a Purchasing Manager. This “fast track to management” opportunity is based in their Hartford, Connecticut area offices. This position will be responsible for the sourcing and procurement of materials for their North American manufacturing facilities. The goal of this position is to deliver results according to category team and regional targets, select and steer assigned supplier base, lead sourcing strategies etc. A Bachelor’s degree is a must, as well as 3 + years post graduate experience in procurement within a manufacturing organization. Experience in strategic sourcing and/or purchasing of packaging and/or raw material is a plus. Compensation includes a salary to $100,000 (depending on experience), a lucrative bonus plan, excellent benefits, and relocation assistance.
