Responsibilities include database server installation, upgrades, scripting, backups, SSIS package development, monitoring failover, data protection, and security.  Rrsponsible for designing, building and supporting relational databases supporting SharePoint, Siebel, Biztalk, Oracle Business Intelligence and Great Plains. This position develops strategies for data migration, archive, recovery, and implementation of a database.   Skills: MS SQL Server 2000, 2005 and 2008 Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience - 6+ years of experience in MS SQL database administration - Experience should include a strong knowledge in SQL database design, relational databases and data warehousing, SSIS, T-SQL Excellent consulting, problem solving, and analytical skills MCITP a plus.
