"Purpose: Markets products by developing and implementing marketing, social networking, and advertising campaigns; tracking sales, company growth, company popularity, events; maintaining promotional materials inventory; planning meetings and trade shows and events; maintaining databases; preparing reports. Job Description to Include (but not limited to): • Dealing with and responding to media requests and acting as a spokesperson for your client, and sometimes the company. • Establish, maintain and leverage cooperative relationships with local industry leaders. • Create marketing campaigns, proposals, and plans utilizing company methodology. • Work with management and team to develop trends, and methods, and to provide advice in your area of expertise. • Create and develop effective promotional campaigns, press kits, media, and any other items needed to highlight and show off your product or client. • Conduct market research, focus groups, product testing as needed. • Track results and statistics of your efforts • Assist in the distribution of advertising materials designed to represent your clients’ product or service. • Monitoring and watching the client’s bottom line- helping the client to spend the minimum advertising dollar. • Organize events when needed for promotional purposes. • Develop goals and plans on a monthly basis. • Researches competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising; maintaining research databases. Knowledge Requirements: • Strong knowledge and understanding of the English language. • Social Networking knowledge. • Knowledge of Media and Communications Mediums. • Sales and Marketing- you must understand the basic principles for sales and marketing including methods and ways of promoting, showing, and selling a product, person or service. You should know marketing strategies and tactics, sales techniques, and methods of generating and closing sales. Qualifications • A bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, public relations, and other sales or advertising fields is preferred. Relevant work experience will be considered and taken into account at the same level as a degree. • Editing and writing experience- writing samples will need to be provided with your portfolio down the line. • Above average presentation and presentation design skills. • Ability to work under a deadline, and work extra hours if necessary. • Strong Our offices are virtual so program training will be conducted via the web. Representatives will be expected to be “logged” in during office hours to a shared collaboration space. Representatives must attend weekly virtual meeting and conference calls. A company Non Disclosure Agreement must be signed before we can conduct interviews.
