They operate in 100 countries with their large range of products used by most of the Fortune 500 companies. Your job... You will part of a small Distribution and Manufacturing team based in their Distribution Centre in Heerenveen, NL. You will be liaising with the rest of the Distribution and Manufacturing teams located in the UK. This role will mainly provide Oracle R12 WMS system support and will be part of future Global enhancements. You may well be asked to get involved with other areas of R12 as required. You will be using your Oracle technical skills (50%) as well as your functional abilities (50%). * Configure WMS for receiving, inventory management (cycle counting, minmax replenishments), shipping and label printing. * Create picking and put away rules and strategies based on business requirements. * Utilize your experience with setups required for cycle counting serialized items within WMS. * Troubleshoot ASN (advance shipment notice) failures and stuck inventory transactions resulting from shipping that prevents month-end close. * Create complex SQL queries to pull data for users at short notice. * Help out with other Oracle modules such as Purchasing and Order Management. * Create service requests and liaise with Oracle support in getting resolutions. * Take ownership and drive issues to completion. * Travel to other locations on a frequent basis (4-8 trips a year) to the UK and US. * Represent or support the department at site management meetings as the on-site IT person. Your Profile... * 2+ years experience with Oracle WMS (versions R11 or R12). * Experience managing all the Oracle functions listed in the section above. * Proven record of implementing Oracle 11 and preferable Oracle 12. * 2+ years functional experience with: * - Oracle Warehouse Management (inbound and outbound). * - Oracle Manufacturing, Purchasing and Order Management. * - Dealing with Oracle on patches and fixes and understanding how that process works. * Comfortable with the Oracle AIM methodology. * Ability and desire to help the business maximize its investment in Oracle, including helping to remodel their processes to fit better with Oracle. * 2+ years business handling skills (Business Analyst-type role). * 3+ years hands-on SQL and problem diagnosis skills. * Knowledge of PL/SQL and Java is preferred. * Working experience in multinational organizations. * Experience working for Oracle Corp is an advantage. * Self-starter who’s able to solve problems as your supervisor will not be based in the same office. * Excellent communication skills and ability to share solutions with team colleagues. * Ability to travel frequently (4-8 trips a year). * Excellent English language skills (verbal and written). * Excellent Dutch language skills (verbal and written). * This position is ONLY open to candidates with EU citizenship or a work visa.
