"Please find the job description below & contact me if you have any questions at lina@tansoncorp.com Job Title : Sr.Business Analyst ITSM/ITIL v3 Location : Minneapolis, MN Duration : 06 Months ( Contract) Pay Range : Negotiable Complete Project Description: The purpose of this position is to support and influence business decisions by gathering various data elements & performing financial & statistical analysis within a functional area. This role is expected to be a subject matter expert on the policies and processes in place in order to assist with troubleshooting, identification & implementation of solutions. Responsibilities: "Documenting standard operating procedures and process flows for the organization to reference. "Gathering and maintaining data and ensuring accuracy of the data for reporting and analysis. "Creating reports & determining the appropriate report design for various audiences. Refining those reports & models used to conduct analysis effectively. "Performing statistical analysis, modeling, and other quantitative techniques in order to answer business questions, assess business issues and/or recommend courses of action to meet business objectives. "Presenting results of analysis and/or recommendations to portfolio/project managers, business managers, utility partners, & at times external parties. "Establishing scorecards and dashboards with process performance metrics, targets & triggers. "Assisting with project execution by providing input to business requirements, test plans, & implementation plans. "Communicating action plans, status and priorities to appropriate partners. "Compiling and publishing AQMS deliverables as req. "Assisting with performing user acceptance testing and ensuring the test results meet defined criteria in order to meet the business objectives "Acting as a liaison b/w business leaders, staff & utility functions in order to drive knowledge transfer Behavior Characteristics: "The ability to demonstrate self-sufficiency with accessing, processing and interpreting information "The ability to lead, influence, communicate and interact with people of all levels across the organization & external partners as required "Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills "Demonstrated proficiency in statistical analysis, modeling and scorecard creation "Demonstrated proficiency in completing: Requirements Lists, Non-functional Requirements, Process Model, Use Cases, Data Journal, Business Rule Catalog, Wire Frames, etc. Required/Desired skills: "Minimum of 3–5 yrs of Sr. BA exp is strongly preferred "Exp in implementation of ITSM toolsets is strongly preferred "Must have solid understanding of ITIL v3 "ITIL v3 Essentials certification preferred "Must have exp in facilitating requirements gathering sessions "Must have exp defining & documenting functional & non-functional requirements "Must have exp in documenting use cases for testing "Must have very strong written and oral communications skills "Must also have background or exposure to technical writing Nice to Have: BA &/or BS in Business, Finance, Mathematics or related field is Nice to Have For further details please contact: Lina e-Mail: lina@tansoncorp.com Tanson is EOE/AA Tanson Corp. is a Minnesota based Technology Company offering competitive services in IT consulting and staff augmentation providing technology staffing, consulting, and project-based services in onsite, offsite and offshore environments.
