Post Resume -Get Paid by Employers at Resumark .com Subject: CHIEF ENGINEER- GREENSBORO NC Dennis "Jeff" Thompson posted a job: CHIEF ENGINEER- GREENSBORO NC "Chief Engineer Global Engineering – Global Electrical & Electronics Engineering Position description The Chief EE Engineer will work in close cooperation with EE Global Technology Managers (GTM’s) and the EE segment architect to: Secure the EE project deliveries in respect to committed QDFC targets Install systems and components in vehicles Integrate and verify the complete EE system delivery Manage the interface to the EE internal customers (PRM, KAA, PPL, production, aftermarket and the brands) Lead and continuously develop the people at the site connected to the function to achieve the objectives stated in the strategic business plan Maintain the legal organization at the site   The main responsibilities are: Secure project and maintenance deliveries from EE to the brands in respect to committed QDCF targets Provide EE project management (including support functions) for local brand vehicle projects and platform segment projects Install EE systems and EE components developed by EE GTM areas, other commodities and business units in vehicles Integrate and verify deliveries on EE system level Lead product quality improvement and product cost reduction initiatives to meet committed targets Secure a front office to the local brand for the vehicles in production/aftermarket as interface to the EE product sites and GTM areas. Manage the interface to the EE internal customers (PRM, KAA, PPL, production, aftermarket and the brands) Manage the EE project portfolio for the segment/product assigned to the site Participate and contribute in applicable project steering committees Lead and develop people at the site connected to the function Contribute in harmonization and development of processes, methods, tools and standards globally Regular communication to global EE organization on performance, strategies and operations Break down business plan targets to the site and allocate activities to direct reports Secure competence development strategy Secure knowledge sharing globally utilizing Competence Area Teams (CAT) Control of development and expense budget for the site, including consolidation and reporting Manage the investments for the site Follow up and track operations by means of KPI reviews Manage the site legal organization   As EE Chief Engineer you are expected to: Have an open multi-brand and multi-cultural mindset Be a network builder and have good communication skills To be able to take own initiatives and drive certain actions on your own Leadership and empowerment Be Business and Customer oriented Have an inspiring leadership and find it rewarding to manage leaders and co-workers to perform their best in a successful working climate Management courage and integrity We believe this is a position for a person that has the ability to work under demanding conditions and to create a successful working climate in these situations.
