The team develops state-of-the-art chemical simulation software for use in pharmaceutical and biotechnology research. The successful candidate will have strong Java web development skills to work on a web based administration and configuration tool for Seurat. Seurat, which is one of Schrodinger?s products, is a leading enterprise informatics platform that facilitates data analysis, sharing, and management among all members of a drug discovery team. This tool is a web based application which lets the user interactively configure various components required for the application. The ideal candidate should have: - Bachelor's in Computer Science Engineering or similar degree - 1.5 to 2 years experience in Java, AJAX (JQuery/Prototype), J2EE, JDBC, Enterprise relational databases (Oracle and PostgreSQL) and JavaScript libraries - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Candidates with development experience in Java Swing GUIs and familiarity with deploying applications using Java Web Start are preferred."
