Title: Project Manager III Location: New York, NY Type: Contract (4 Months) Salary: Market Job ID: 1460B-014PM JOB DESCRIPTION Mandatory Requirements: - Experience managing all phases of a complex project life cycle (8+ years); - Experience managing all phases of complex procurement realignment project for large organization such as NYCHA (8+ years); - Experience in supply chain and procurement optimization projects resulting in significant procurement costs savings (8+ years); - Experience with creating strategic vendor/supplier alliances to drive efficiencies (8+ year) - Experience working with financial statements and accounting systems (8+ years); - Experience working with human resource management (8+ years); and - Experience in organization change management (8+ years). Desirable Experience Listed in order of importance: - Demonstrated ability to restructure vendor agreements to drive down costs. - Demonstrated ability to achieve outsourcing agreements; - Strong written and communication skills; - Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills; - Experience in managing issues, risk mitigation and developing detailed status reports; and - Knowledge of IT governance, budgeting, and procurement in a government agency environment.
