Our client is seeking the skills and experience of an experienced Communications Engineer with a proven track record in working across enterprise wide projects. As the technical expert you will be providing our client with network and voice solutions. Core competencies include: Enterprise Cisco (voice & data), LAN, WAN, F5. THE POSITION: As the successful applicant, you will be responsible for maximizing technical solutions to the clients high standards for quality. Job responsibilities: •Requires Network & Voice Design background and can review designs to ensure appropriate quality, traceability between contract requirements, and alignment with enterprise architecture & technical policies. •Be able to establish a Knowledge Management Repository for Technical Documentation, i.e. Design Docs, Test Plans, Implementation Docs, and ongoing Support/Operational documentation. •Representing architecture at regular forums including project status and technical design meetings, including taking ownership of architecture actions. •Working with stakeholders, including 3rd party vendors, to deliver responsibilities in relation to project and program work. •Assist with mitigation of risks and resolution of issues in relation to architectural items. Experience/Technical Skills required: 1.5 years + Comms Engineering or Architecture experience within a corporate, consulting or enterprise environment 2.Solid technical competencies (as listed above) 3.Technical design and pre-sales experience 4.Impeccable communication and consulting skills 5.Cisco certification - CNA, CCIE or equivalent 5.Available immediately or within 4-6 weeks 6.Current security clearance (HP, Secret or above - mandatory) Please note: only suitable candidates that meet the above criteria will be contacted.
