Provide a Senior-level contribution to a team responsible for the design, development and implementation of critical business applications using the .NET Framework 2.0/3.0, SQL Server technologies. Analyze requests for new applications/features, determine the appropriate technology to meet the need, participate in solution design, and provide accurate implementation time estimates. Key Responsibilities • Gather requirements for project and creates specifications for code development. Also expected to analyze requests for new applications/features, determine the appropriate technology and software design to meet the need and to provide accurate implementation time estimates. • Designing and developing web-based, desktop or smart-client applications, primarily to facilitate entry, display, analysis and reporting of customer or hosted data, and to provide support for existing applications and troubleshoot any problems that arise. • Define the integration between proposed development projects and existing systems, software and hardware. • Work in a collaborative development environment, providing assistance and technical guidance to include working with Business Analyst team members to diagnose and resolve complex defects identified throughout testing phases. • Ability to review, evaluate, design, implement and maintain company databases and/or applications • Adhere to company coding and development standards • Produce documentation for the development work undertaken. Qualifications and Experience • Computer Science Degree or any relevant. • 5+ years of professional software development experience, including 5 Yrs C# and Microsoft .NET in a medium to large scale web and windows forms application development environment. This is an experienced Microsoft Technology Architect position; the successful applicant will be expected to complete the programming assignment with the minimum supervision as well as participate in overall system design and provide guidance to junior level in- experienced programmers. • Solid knowledge of Industry Standards, Frameworks, and Design Patterns (.NET Framework 2.0/3.0,Winforms/Webforms) • Full SDLC, processes and formal methodology experience (RUP and Agile Development a plus). • Experience in database design and development. Preferred experience with SQL Server 2005 and/or SharePoint/MOSS. • Systems integration experience with Web services and .NET Remoting. In addition to the .NET/C# requirement the ideal candidate will also have 1 or more of the following qualifications: o AJAX and XML Web Services o .NET Framework 3.0 (Windows Communication Framework & Windows Workflow Framework) o SQL Server 2005 o Share Point Windows Services o Good Trouble shooting and problem solving skills o Must have good written and verbal communication skills o Experience with SQL Server and IIS Administration o Computer Science Degree or Equivalent degree Core Skills • ASP/ASP.NET • AJAX • VBSCRIPT • C# , .NET Framework 1.1/2.0 • HTML/DHTML/CSS/Javascript • XML/XSLT • SQl Server 2000/2005 • Oracle 8i - 10g Desired Skills Microsoft Certified Professional or Working towards to achieving MCP Environment General Office Environment Daily exposure to PC Note: Candidate who is ready to join immediately can only apply.
