Air Load Control Center Analyst in Manila, Philippines Responsibilities:  The Air Load Control Center Analyst will support the International Air Load Control Center - a program designed to automate and execute the air cargo booking, shipment tender, and exception management process with preferred air cargo forwarders.  This program will rely upon the use of a Third Party Logistics provider, and Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) Systems.  The Analyst must have a solid understanding of Program objectives and processes and be capable of learning detailed aspects of OTM.  He/She should have a project management and/or process engineering mindset and understand the need for prioritization based upon resources. He/She should possess solid analytical skills and be capable of constructing and deconstructing a variety of data sets (eg rates, reports, etc).  He/She should become progressively capable of presenting the program in English to Emerson and external supplier contacts in various countries and regions.  Support the Initial Air LCC deployment by working with the 3rdParty Logistics provider, Emerson business units and suppliers on Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), and process engineering. Working both independently and in conjunction with the 3rdParty Logistics provider, support the on-boarding of new shippers (both supplier and company) into the program by: Developing and maintaining web-based  training documents in multiple languages (relying on GMDC and other resources for translation services) Facilitate new user registration and host occasional training and program on-boarding presentations with Emerson business units and suppliers Work with the 3rdParty provider to establish priorities and support the program enhancement roadmap: Attend and provide current project tracking documents for a monthly or quarterly Roadmap review call on U.S or European time with Emerson corporate and the 3PL provider. Identify program enhancement opportunities and/or help desk support issues and escalate to the Project Leader Maintain a list of enhancement and follow up on Roadmap related action items. Publish standard reports consistent with metrics provided by other Corporate logistics Programs (RSCO, ISCO): Weekly Carrier Performance Metrics Monitor program spend, or Freight Under Management on an ongoing basis. Monitor the 3PL provider’s program Help Desk-  track the creation and closure of Help Desk requests submitted to the 3rdPartly logistics provider Monitor and distribute program Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) on a monthly basis Work with the Project Leader to Submit Program Cost Reductions to the Logistics Savings Database on a quarterly basis. Program Support: Work with the Air and Parcel mode team leadership to deploy preferred carrier routing guides and rate structures within Program in conjunction with sourcing projects. Coordinate with the 3PL to Schedule and communicate planned system downtime for upgrades Requirements:  BS Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field with at least 2 years professional experience in Project Management or Business Analyst role. Two or more years software systems or IT call center support role OR two years prior in an international logistics (preferably 3rdparty logistics) support role. Excellent written and verbal English skills (Conversational Mandarin is a plus).
