Key Tasks & Responsibilities Reporting to Executive Management, the Director, Technical Marketing will be the company's relationship manager and ambassador to the client responsible for the following: • Senior level technology and customer solutions interface to channel sales, sales overlay and account teams. • Build and manage global team of sales engineers. • Develop and manage channel solutions and pre-sales partner engagements to drive sales – customer demos, POC’s, market trials, RFP responses, relationship management, etc. • Work hand-in-hand with channel partners through entire sales process including sales collateral, customer presentations, tender preparation, etc. • Work with account teams and customers to identify new business opportunities. • Close collaboration with BroadHop Sales Directors in building region (channel) sales funnel. • Communicate customer requirements and roadmaps to OEM product development organization. • Assure partner field teams have up to date knowledge of new products, features, roadmap, etc. Provide regular training. Success metrics • Development of partner sales funnel and revenue • Partner satisfaction • Building team of high performing sales engineers Qualifications and Skill Requirements The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional technology knowledge and customer solutions interface to channel sales, sales overlay and account teams. Candidate should have a strong track record of building client relationships, emphasizing excellence with a high energy and a motivation for sales in the Telecom industry. Qualifications include: • 10+ years experience working with customer facing and high pressure organizations. Ability to work in a start-up culture with limited resources. • Strong technology background (expert level) - Proven technical sales ability including: relationship building and management, consultative selling • Must be hands on individual as well as strong team leader, self-starter. Build team from scratch. • Significant experience and track record in selling complex solutions to service providers • Strong technical background and experience in telecom and data networks, PCRF, GGSN, telecom billing & charging, deep packet inspection (DPI) • Creative thinking and problem solving. Strong human and interpersonal skills. • Excellent communication skills is a must • Can operate with a high degree of independence within agreed policies, targets and budgets • 40% travel both domestic and international (can be higher periodically) • Enjoys working in a team environment and being part of a fast growing company pioneering leading-edge technology Compensation Based on skills, experience and the ability to make a significant impact – an attractive compensation package of salary, benefits, bonus and stock participation is available.
