"I am looking for Water department Manager for Caribbean (St. Kitts/Grenadine) to manage all aspects of water department including technical, financials and staff management issues. The ideal candidate must have at least 10 years of experience and have to have the following attributes to qualify for this role. • Plan and oversee the effective maintenance and operation of all water production, water distribution, and treatment and wastewater facilities. • Supervises subordinate personnel including: hiring, determining workload and delegating assignments, training, monitoring and evaluating performance. • Participates in the planning, designing, construction and maintenance of facilities. Reviews and/or inspects work for quality, accuracy, and completeness. • Ensures compliance with applicable state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines, etc. • Develops appropriate safety &/or service plans to alleviate risk, provide protection, etc. • Oversees the development, evaluation or review of plans and criteria for a variety of activities; assesses feasibility of proposed plans, projects and equipment. • Provide the Director of Operations with bi-weekly update of the status of the facility, ongoing improvements and actions taken. • Prepares the annual budget request for the program; estimates staffing, equipment supply needs based upon recent trends and planned activities; monitors expenditures after budget adoption; approves purchase requisitions.
