Position: Senior Technical Manager Total experience: 15+ yrs Job Description Overview: General Summary: The job requires development and support of Enterprise SMS/MMS/LBS platforms and Enterprise class scalable/reliable software in general. The technical aspects include requirements analysis, design, implementation and deployment. Detail Job Description: Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Requirements Analysis, Design and Implementation of features and enhancements Analysis of production issues; coordinate with customer/product/operations team and provide resolution/ work-around Coordination with cross-functional teams (product/ program/ operations/ qa/ customer support/ customer) in production releases/ production issues Position Requirements: General skills: 15 years of experience Bachelors/ Masters in Engineering (preferably Computer Science) Good communication skills Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams Experience working in product development environment Good process orientation with exposure to good engineering practices and tools Ability to assume ownership of components Technical skills: Strong hands on experience in below skills Strong Java with OOPs, OOAD, Multithreading from telecom domain Strong Java/ J2EE skills Strong Database skills – Oracle Experience working in Linux / UNIX / Windows platform. Should be a self starter, able to work independently as well as in teams and take initiative to learn, architect and implement solutions Good OOAD Skills and Tools Domain skills (Strongly Desirable): Experience working on scalable, high availability applications/ services, preferably in the SMS and MMS messaging domain.
