Manage all employees within the warehouse/distribution dept in accordance to all applicable governmental and company regulations and will ensure all expenses and raw materials for production are ordered and accounted for at 100% accuracy. 2. Provide notification to QA when product has reached expiration date and will ensure all products to be destroyed properly, whether it is a biohazard, hazardous or non-hazardous. 3. Perform inventory counts, maintain bin locations and pull samples for QA, QC and R&D and will evaluate and plan for expansion for growth of different storage types within the warehouse. 4. Insure all JDE transactions are recorded in an accurate and timely manner and will create, issue, close and complete work orders, automate system transactions and outputs, ensure all materials are stored at proper storage conditions. 5. Make decisions that have impact to multiple departments and task and will be able to effectively communicate thoughts and ideas in a persuasive and appropriate manner between departments. 6. Other competencies include consciously or unconsciously performing cause analysis, communicates and recommends solutions. Must be able to recognize risk, take calculated action which has impact to the internal customer both upstream and downstream and will interact with subordinates, peers and direct supervisor, ability to manage multiple projects more complex in nature and broader in scope and will have the ability to build cross-functional teams that share information and achieve results throughout multiple departments/ cross multi functions. EDUCATIONAL & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: -Bachelor's degree in business, logistics or other related area. -5-8 years of work experience in warehouse/distribution environment. -Must have "cold chain" and "hand's on" experience. -6 Sigma experience preferred.
