You should be comfortable working in all tiers of the application stack including presentation, services, and database. You must possess Architect level skills when it comes to application and database design and will be required to write code during the implementation of your vision as part of the core development team. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE -  7 years of current Oracle database design and development including PL/SQL, stored procs, triggers, views  7 years of current Java application design and development experience  7 years developing in a *NIX environment  5 years of current JavaScript, HTML, CSS  2 years of current ETL experience using tools like Informatica  2 years of Grails development experience  Strong understanding of the SDLC (Agile experience a plus), OOA and OOD  Strong understanding of application servers like Apache Tomcat and WebLogic  Ability to lead and motivate technical resources  Ability to present technical recommendations to staff and senior management  Willingness to challenge and change the status quo through innovation  Demonstrated success in a Production application environment  Must be highly motivated and strive to produce the best possible solution Education  BS in Computer Science or Engineering"
