Teradata 8 to 12 experiences is a must. . Good teradata Architecture knowledge. . Hands on experience on performance tuning of complex SQLs on large Teradata databases. . In depth knowledge of Teradata utilities such as Multiload, Fastexport, BTEQ, Fastload, Teradata Parallel Transporter. . Good SQL proficiency and experience. . Security administration using roles and profiles mechanism, Create user, Grant permission, role and privileges. . Should be able to Contact Teradata Support to resolve issues like performance and product support. Following up with vendor on the Teradata Hardware Alerts. . Setup and follow-up of various database alerts. . Create User Database, Create Tables/views, Procedure/and macros. . Troubleshooting database related issues. . Performance monitoring. . Experience using Teradata Viewpoint portal and TASM is a plus . Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned . Certification in Teradata and Teradata SQL preferred. .
