Mehboob Meherali posted a job: Title: PeopleSoft Techno-functional HCM Analyst (Reference # May 06/02) Location: Schenectady, NY Duration: 6+ Months Project – PeopleSoft HR 8.8 to 9.1 upgrade "Summary – Client is upgrading Payroll, Benefits and Pensions from Version 8.9 to 9.1. They process roughly 160,000 active employees, 200,000 pensions and a total of 900,000 including dependents. They are in the initial phases of a multiyear upgrade and are in need of a technofunctional analyst to assist with Production Scheduling, Batch processing, Testing cycles, Security, Data Control. This person will sit in a “functional” team that manages a number of traditionally “technical” processes. Essential Responsibilities * Act as triage specialist for functional issues across Operations. Facilitate teams thru the decision process and support implementation of the fix. * Approve updates to Change Management Strategies and monitor for adherence to guidelines established. * Monitor/Approve Ad Hoc processing needs and updates and ensure coordinated PeopleSoft Operations minor & major releases: Overall milestone tracking, SIT planning and execution, production schedule changes and transition to production. * Ensure teams are adhering to standards and have proper approvals. * Coordinate needs for Peoplesoft production and release track environments across multiple teams. * Lead cross functional improvement projects which span Operations as requested. * Lead project testing efforts: strategy, planning and facilitating. Qualifications/Requirements * Four year degree in computer related discipline or equivalent experience * Peoplesoft HRMS experience * Technically savvy with strong desire to learn. Experience in production processing methodology and scheduling, SQL , Excel, Visio * Strong analytical skills including the ability to identify trends * Detailed oriented * Strong organizational and project management skills * Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills * Demonstrated ability to drive results * Excellent teaming and influencing skills * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced team environment * Proven ability to problem-solve at an advanced level and drive towards a solution * Ability to lead cross functional process improvement teams to drive efficiencies Please send me your updated resume along with the below contact details ASAP.
