Develop software for communication protocols DNP, Modbus, IEC 61850. Develop software system testing procedures and documentation. Maintenance of existing legacy window base software. Responsibilities: Independently evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making adaptations and modifications. Be a fully competent engineer in the subject matter or the functional areas of the assignments. Plan and conduct work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection and adaptation or modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria. The candidate will be responsible for developing software applications by performing review, analysis, design, and modification of small to large scale systems and components. In addition he/she will be learning the latest cutting edge technology for designing and developing windows and web-centric applications. Education, Experience, Skills & Knowledge: BSCS or related of SW design and development experience in C++ and C#. • Software development experience with communication protocol standards such as Modbus over TCP/IP, Modbus Serial, DNP3.0 or IEC61850. • Practical knowledge of computer networking. • Practical experience of Windows device drivers. Knowledge of Linux is a plus. • Designing, coding, debugging, installation and maintenance of diverse windows applications is a must. • Experience in working on Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, 2010. • Quick learner and self-starter."
