ROLES & RESPONSIBILITY: Our Jackson, MN manufacturing facility is looking for a Reliability Engineer with a strong technical background in reliability and FMEA. Our Jackson location manufactures the AGCO Challenger brand. The Challenger is our fastest-growing equipment brand in North America. Its tractor product line includes both wheeled and track-type designs, CAT engines, as well as innovative suspension systems to meet the varying needs of professional farmers around the world. The Challenger MT875B track tractor holds a world record by cultivating 1,590 acres (644 ha and 14 m) in 24 hours with a single operator pulling a 46-foot-wide disc. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: As the Reliability Engineer, you will work with design and test engineers to develop product proving out reliability on new products. This includes; providing education, development and process improvement related to reliability analysis and method implementation. Specific Responsibilities Include: Provide in-depth knowledge of reliability principles and equations used for Reliability Growth modeling. Assist development team in reliability benchmarking and target setting. Facilitate FMEA and new content analysis sessions and implement reliability methods. Provide leadership and analytical support in developing the Reliability Growth plan and analyze alternatives. Provide recommendation on preferred Reliability Growth plan to project team which includes financial data from an economic model. Develop, maintain and enforce guidelines for conducting effective Reliability Growth programs. Assist in supporting an effective failure reporting process. Edit failure data as required in keeping up with appropriate problem validations. Attend and participate in reliability meetings. Review and communicate the status and solutions on problems. Maintain documentation, analysis results and develop relationships to help more effectively plan future Reliability Growth programs. Conduct Reliability Growth Phase change and end of project audits.
