• Excel – Worksheets, spreadsheets, pivot tables, graphs, charts, macros, formulae, etc.
• Powerpoint – presentations, animations

• SAP – Sales/Distribution and/or Materials Management

Job Description :
• The Global Trade Compliance Classification Engineer provides support to the Global Trade (Import and Export) Compliance Team.
• Position will be a member of the Central Classification (CC) Team in India reporting into the Master Data Management Team.
Key activities include but are not limited to :
• Harmonized System (HS) Classification of Cameron Products
• Export Control Classification Number (ECCN) Assignment of Cameron Products
• Import/Export Operational Support.
• Harmonized System (HS) Classification of Cameron Products -
- Review technical specifications, bills of materials, engineering designs
- Consult with Design Responsible Engineers to obtain required product details
- Utilize the Harmonized System's General Rules of Interpretation (GRI) to assign Harmonized Schedule number and corresponding duty or tariff rate
- Input classifications into SAP, Trade Automation or other required databases or systems of record
- Maintain analysis and justification documentation for audit purposes
• Export Control Classification Number (ECCN) Assignment of Cameron Products -
- Review technical specifications, bills of materials, engineering designs
- Consult with Design Responsible Engineers to obtain required product details
- Utilize the Commerce Control List (CCL) to assign the Export Control Classification Number (ECCN)
- Input classifications into SAP, Trade Automation or other required databases or systems of record
- Maintain analysis and justification documentation for audit purposes
• Import/Export Operational Support
- Analyze and resolve trade compliance holds or blocks in SAP and Trade Automation tools (restricted party, sanctioned country, product classification etc.)
- Support and conduct user acceptance testing for IT changes to the systems impacting trade compliance
- Review, research and respond to internal and external customers' trade compliance queries via generic import/export mailboxes
- Assess and approve manual invoices as required
- Escalate issues to Global Trade Compliance Team or Regional Trade Compliance Managers
